| subject: | Which OS/2 programming book |
Hello all!
I'm about to get starting doing some programming for OS/2 using Speed
Pascal. I'd like some recommendations for a good programming book to get.
I'm an average amateur programmer of Turbo pascal for DOs. I've also messed
a little bit with the Desqview API so I know a little about threads and
such. I have a vague idea about C but nothing about C++ (and I don't want
to know - life's too short!). So, based on that, which of the OS/2 books on
the market do you think would suit me best? I'm going to need to know some
the things like handling threads, good desktop design and when to thread
and when not, but also some of the APi I suppose...
Best regards, Derek
