Depends what you want to do with it...
I'm fairly impressed with the new generation (CE 2.0) colour machines, such
as HP620LX... the screens offer high-contrast 256 colour, which is finally
readable for long periods of time (my biggest problem w. the original
monochrome models), and with 16 megs RAM, there's plenty of memory for CE
applications and data.
As a result, they can be a notebook replacement for many people looking for
a lighter machine for light use-- minimal writing and calculating, some web
browsing and e-mail.
No, they're not a replacement for a 'full' computer for most users, but
they potentially have some value beyond replacing a paper DayTimer.
