I had a T/S 1000 too with the 16K RAM expansion pack. Although the base
unit had 2K (double that of the ZX81), plugging in the 16K expansion didn't
augment your memory to get 18K addressable. You still had an upper limit of
16K!

What have you been able to do with your new T/S 1000?
