Roger,
I got a message from someone in Florida, telling me that he nor his readers
can see the messages which I have toggled Private. He asked whether that
was what I intended or if I would like to have the Private flag stripped.
After I sent him a message stating I was working behind the scenes for my
conference, etc., I got another message, asking me (among other things)
"what was [my] point?"
I have indicated to him that I would see about setting up the interview,
which I revealed to him was one of the things I am doing, via Internet.
Also, I told him I hoped this answered his concerns.
My Internet address is: don.herman@rook.wa.com If you have an Internet
address, it might be better if we do the interview that way. But, please
notice I also toggled this message Private. That, I think, is what the
little box is for on my off-line reader program, so I can do that, huh?
The guy also suggested Netmail for direct communication. I suppose we
could do that, if you feel like it. I really don't care but suppose I
have to respect the BBS system and some ...oh, what's the word I want?
Anyway I don't have my FidoNet address on me. Haven't used it yet. But
I can get it off the BBS if we need to.
What do you think?
Don
