Amen to those storms. I was out on Ray Hubbard once when a storm front was
coming in. The boat we were in was a 19' Ranger with a 135hp. A nice little
motor, but a 150 would have smoothed the boat out some. Anyway...the wind
was howling and we were headed back to the ramp and we saw this guy in a
fishing boat that had this tiny little motor on it. He was trying to get to
shore going into the wind. We slowed down to watch him and he was only
25yds from shore, but making no headway at all. We had to go over and tow
the guy to shore before the real storm hit. It's better to have it and not
use it than to not have it and need it. :)
