JB> How do I create a window whose frame does not include a client JB> area (ie, just a titlebar and menu)? PF> Don't call WinCreateStdWindow() -- call WinCreateWindow() PF> with a class of WC_FRAME. I get unusual results from this. When I call WinCreateWindow(), it gives me what I'm after except that the titlebar and menu do not appear until after I resize the border. I can use the menu keys to get the submenus to display while the menu is not displayed. I've tried WinShowWindow() and WinSetWindowPos() to cause these controls to display, but haven't had any success. Any clues as to what Frame Control flags, API functions to call, etc, to have this come up correctly w/out having to resize it? JB> Barring that, how do I find the height of a titlebar and menu? PF> WinQuerySysValue(HWND_DESKTOP, SV_CYTITLEBAR); PF> WinQuerySysValue(HWND_DESKTOP, SV_CYMENU); This looks like its giving me the height I need. Should I also query for the frame thickness and add these values in setting the window height? Thanks in advance. JPBeal.
