I'll have to look for them. I suppose any standard velocity .22lr would
work, or for that matter a standard .22short or .22long. BTW I've been
shooting these out of a 24" barrel Remington 514 for years. However, the
chamber is kind of funky in the thing, and I've taken it in to get it
rechambered to .22mag. It's a single shot, so no feeding problems to
worry about.
I use the armscor .22 semiauto for all my .22cb short shooting these
days. It doesn't feed them reliably from the magazine if I cycle them
manually, but I can load them into the chamber one at a time, or they
will feed okay manually if I only load one in the magazine at a time.
And it's just as quiet as the 514, and seems to be just as accurate.
Ever since I prettied up the 10/22, I like banging around with the
armscor a lot more: no worries if I scuff it up a little.
