Hi Rod
I've scored a Netcomm 1234 modem and I cant get it to work on my 64.
Here's the story.
I bought an RS232 converter kit from Jaycars which did nothing.
Then I heard the kit was designed wrong and I was advised on how to modify it.
Now at least the modem responds to an AT command with OK but as soon as I
try to dial I hear one click from the external speaker then I get the
dreaded NO CARRIER message on the screen.
The modem works on both an Amiga 500 and an IBM.
          HELP! !
