I'm playing with the new makenl now. Gonna try generating a segment with
the ¨'allowunpub' but I wont send it out except via email attach to those
who would ¨like to use it. Malcolm has a separate DIFF distro from the
'classic' one and ¨he may appreciate having a Z6 stub to match it. In that
seg, I wont have *any* ¨000- sets in there at all. I'll shift the static
IP's to a flag or the BBSname ¨area. I'm just waiting to hear which he
would prefer. Z6 'standard' is ¨BBSname but I can leave it there plus add
it to any flag if that suits him.
Grin, my IP flags are still messy. They were not entered right so I need
to ¨fix them up. I was prioritizing first on the POTS mess.
It's been 6 weeks I think? First 2 weeks, just get a segment out and work
out ¨the dual sendings (Anatoli is a dear, and did not know I was also
sending them ¨so we crashed a bit, fixed after the 2nd week). Next 3
weeks, removed downed ¨nodes and fix POTS. Now, I've updated to ZIP and
the newest makenl, and am ¨proceeding with fixing the ION entries (waiting
for approvals to add never ¨previously listed email addresses etc and fix
BinkP flags).
It may seem like slow progress, but actually it's been very rapid
considering ¨the state of things when I took over. I get nothing but kudos
in the ZCC echos ¨or answers to questions, or an agreement to delay one
part (zip for example).
