CH>Let me throw in a penny or two of thoughts, but first a question.
CH>You want to store heated water in a tank 20 feet above the heat
CH>source? The normal convection should provide some circulation.
negatori, I am going to store the water at ground level and pump it to a
roof mounted heat pump(non functioning). Will normal convection do
this??
CH>may be a cheap way to increase circulation. Insert a small amount
CH>of compressed air into the up-flowing water. The air rising in the
CH>pipe will increase the circulation a fair amount. A small and
CH>inexpensive diaphragm compressor is cheaper to buy and run than a
CH>pump. And seals aren't anywhere near the problem as a pump has.
?This is an interesting concept. Where is the air vented??
