Thanks for the Info! This is gonna be my 3rd bike. I now have a
C-Dale Delta V600 with headshok, and a C-dale H400 Hibrid which
is my wife's bike that I road ride. Now I want a road bike for me.
The Cannondale "Silk Road" 500 (SR500) seems to have better than
average components and a headshok. Guesstamate it to be about $1100 to
$1200.00, so I'm still shopping around and comparing.
BTW I do have one of those $150.00 steel bikes you mentioned. It was
actually a $189.00 Murry with all steel everything! We now call it
"The Bahemoth" Total weight = 42 lbs. ( without water bottles)
If your ever gonna ride into battle, let me know I'll let ya borrow it!

Thanks again for the Info!
  Mike
