Yeah. Here in North America he wasn't very well known at all. His
main claim to cult fame was the big name side-men he had on some of his
albums. One that I recall, (_Lord Sutch and His Heavy Friends_) featured
several of the biggest names in British rock including (if I recall
correctly) Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page. I wish I could remember all the
other players who were on it.... Oh well... I'm told that happens
when a person reaches my age.... I guess you start to get used to it. ;-\

(Hmmmm.... Alan Holdsworth plays on this one - his tone is fairly
recognizable on a couple of tracks, but melodically he doesn't really
stray outside of the basic pop format and I'm not sure I would've
noticed if he wasn't mentioned in the liner notes!) ;-(
