VIRTUAL PASCAL FOR OS/2: EARLY EXPERIENCE PROGRAM

Virtual Pascal for OS/2 - VP/2 - is a very Borland Pascal compatible
32-bit compiler for OS/2. It is remarkably easy to use, and generates
very fast and compact 32-bit executable files that can fully exploit the
powers of IBM's OS/2.

Virtual Pascal for OS/2 v1.0 will be released 1st quarter of 1996, but
it is now possible participate in the Early Experience Program (EEP) for
VP/2. Not only does this enable you to start working seriously,
enrolment in the EEP also entitles you to free upgrade to VP/2 v1.0.

If you would like further details of VP/2, more information is available
on the Virtual Pascal for OS/2 homepage on the WWW. Access
http://www.ibmpcug.co.uk/~fprint/vpascal.html for the technical details
about VP/2, a link to an english version of the review which appeared in
the german technical magazine C't, and even a comparison between VP/2
and one of our competitors.

The EEP includes the following features of VP/2 1.0:
  - Fully BP7 compatible 32-bit Pascal Compiler for OS/2
  - Very powerful built-in debugger, both source and exe-level
  - Full online help system similar to the one from BP7
  - Text Mode Integrated Development Environment similar to the one of BP7
  - Patch to upgrade existing Borland Turbo Vision source code to VP/2
  - All standard OS/2 API available directly
  - Numerous programming examples, showing the power of VP/2

Futher enhancements for v1.0 will include
  - Borland OWL compatibility library
  - Object Pascal (Delphi) extensions for compiler
  - Full online documentation of the OS/2 API, porting issues etc
  - Printed documentation
  - Upgrade patch to TurboPower's Object Professional for VP/2

The price for participating in the EEP is GBP 45, plus a shipping charge
of GBP 5. (This translates into USD 75, DKK 450, and DEM110).

For this very low price, you will receive the EEP by mail, and in addition

FYI, in case the english link into this conference is broken.

I'm quite sure netmail orders are OK, but I can't say for sure. The
netmail adress to use would be 2:254/283 (location: London, UK).
