MP>JK>You have discipline confused with child beating....the result of over
MP>JK>zealous social workers who don't have the faintest idea at all of how
MP>JK>the brain and body work and who don't have to pass hard science
MP>JK>courses in order to get their degree.
MP>I took a lot of hard science and other courses. Got A's in most of them.
MP>the one's I got a "B" in were the ones I felt unchallenged and did not
MP>work as hard.
And you aren't a social worker, just impacted by those idiots who
accepted the premise proposed by the two Navy shrinks who didn't have
enough to keep them busy during WWII in the South Pacific.
That paper was on file at St. Elizabeths Hospital in D.C. in the late
1940's. Wish I'd had a copy machine handy at the time I read the damn
thing.
That is where this nonsense began of not teaching children to compete.
The shrinks failed to learn about the intense battles among the various
tribes there long before they happened on the scene or take into
consideration the need in our climate for more shelter, jobs, etc.
We live in a competitive society which has carefully not taught its
children how to compete for too many years now.
