yes...

the problem there is at least several-fold... 

  * my system does still get FREQs and FUPDs via both POTS and TELNET...
  * my system has quite a library of old hard to fine files...
  * SRIF can't do File UPDate requests...

there are more but i'm tired and it is friday night so i'm off...

thanks for confirming that it is an unworkable situation...
