 From behind, unexpectedly an unknown individual struck me
 violently with a 2 1/2 inch diameter freshly cut tree branch
 approximately 4 1/2 feet long ONCE.

 I never as much as lost my footing however I was stunned and bleeding
 profusely.

 One, I don't carry Larry around with me.
 Two, but a single command and my PIT BULL would have torn the
 "snot" out of the attacker.
 
 Spanky however is my companion and I'd never use him as the weapon
 the original owner intended.

 EMT's put a compression bandage on my head and despite their repeated
 insistence I needed medical attention I refused it with
 no negative consequences whatever.

 It did take about two months to completely heal being just above my
 left ear and the impact with that branch was such that it actually
 cut several clumps of hair looking like they'd been cut by scissors.

I elected not put the dog at risk being the breed he is and with
no witnesses to the first attack animal control would have put him 
down had I uttered his attack command.

As it is my dog is fine, I healed up and neither the worse for the
event.

 Now you're suggesting homicide as well as felony animal cruelty.

 Anyway Larry is hardly stupid enough to "join" anyone 
 under an apartment being tented for termites.
