G'day Paul,

On 24-02-95 08:31, Paul Edwards said to Rod Speed

JG>> the normal manner eg 'zip -u 00000000.mo0 kwq12i.exe'. It added

JG>> in without a hitch. The transfer died with the usual message.

PE>> Then there is virtually no doubt. Your modem can't handle

PE>> the data rate, because you haven't enabled RTS/CTS on your

PE>> comms program (actually OS/2 with the mode statement), your

PE>> RS232 cable, and your modem itself.

RS>> Trouble with that theory is that it should also affect an uploaded

RS>> mail packet of above that size.

PE> Yep, and with the volume of messages that Jeff writes, he is

PE> unlikely to have ever hit the size that would be obtained by

PE> adding kwk12i.exe to the file. BFN.

That's why I'm confused!! Some of the uploads lately have been over 8192
bytes (under 16384 though). I'm betting that it's this shit heap Netcomm
and that as soon as I get a newer/faster modem, my problems will go away.

Don't forget that this Netcomm M7F (Series 3, latest ROM) of mine wont talk
to a Netcomm M34.
