CS> That was a ZCC vote with 6 zones in the mix. No it wasn't. First of all, at least in my part of the world, we have this practice about people with a bias should not be allowed to judge. So we have: Z1C: Biased, since she instigated the coup. Z2C: Biased, for obvious reasons. Z3C: Biased, for being the Crown Prince of choice. That leaves three ZCs. One of them, Z4C, tried to raise some questions, but was swiftly dismissed with a patronizing pat on the head "don't you bother your pretty little head about the details, leave it to us that know what goes!". That leaves two ZCs, that had one thing in common, they hadn't been active in fidonet for years, so obviously they had no idea what this was all about. It's no coincident, that they both have been replaced by now. Let me make this clear: I don't care shit about who's IC, as long as the network is working. Fortunately I still can depend on my ZC for acting as a "filter" between my system and the rest of the mesh, including such things as distributing proper nodediffs and such, even when some occasional ZC makes a mistake with his/her segment. :) What I will oppose to, for as long as I breathe, is unfairness of all kinds. And in this case, the foul stench of betrayal still lingers heavily all over the scene. ---* Origin: news://felten.yi.org (2:203/2) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 203/2 0 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
