   "Angel hair" is one of those things that mysteriously falls out of the sky 
at intervals (allegedly), along with frogs, rocks, blood, red snow, straw, 
eggs, etc.
   It's been described as a fine, thread-like substance, but little is known 
about it and it's never been analysed because it has a tendency to crumble to 
nothing if handled.
   It has no known link with aliens, apart from it being technically an 
unidentified substance that spends time airborne.
