Concerning _WinRadio Coming!_, Bill Cheek said to Troy H. Cheek in SCANRADIO:

I know the feeling. I've got programs I'd love to try out, but can't,
because my backup monitor can't handle the higher resolutions like my main
monitor could before it went bye bye.
And I'll be *very* interested to read how well this thing works. The worst
place I can set my handheld scanner is near the computer. What it's like
inside the shielding, I can't imagine. But I assume that the designers of
WinRadio have fixed things so that we won't hear the drive heads stepping
while we're trying to listen to our favorite freqs...

Yes, I read about it in your _Ultimate Scanner_ book. It's what gave me the
idea...
BC> frequency, time, or several other variables. Only one at a time,

The 'one at a time' part is the main difference. To not miss anything on the
second freq, you'd need a second tuner. And a controller smart enough to
feed freq1 from tuner1 through the speaker while recording freq2 from tuner2.
Then, when freq1 goes silent, play back freq2 from memory, all the time
keeping watch on freq1, ready to record that if it starts again before freq2
finishes...
It's not much of a dream, I guess. With two CE-232's and two scanners (or
possibly two WinRadio cards) and custom software, it's certainly doable.
