MS>Ain't that the truth. But I guess it will kill the moss back and g
MS>parks a chance to clean up around the shores some.
TM> I was thinking the same thing the other day. This would be a great
TM> time for the TPW to use the low water levels to do some work clea
TM> and working on things like ramps.
MS>The Corps of Engineers have actually done some improvments here, they
MS>cleaned up considerably and put some sand out on the dry land that
MS>use to be a beach swimming area. Maybe tommorrow I will run (well,
MS>actually drive) down to the lake and see if the level has came up
MS>enough since the rain to enjoy the boat. It was so low that the
MS>smell would kill you almost as fast as those newborn islands that
MS>used to be 7 or 8 feet deep...
I have a friend who works for Farmers Insurance. He says that he is seeing
quite a few boats coming in with damage from slamming into previously
sunken rocks and trees. :(
