BG> Keith, at 23:57 on May 25 1995, you wrote to Bill Grimsley...
BG> Have you seen the new experimental 777 in the news recently?
BG> That's one BIG motherfucker of an aeroplane! More like a flying
BG> auditorium IMO.
KR> yearh, i think that beoing were looking to airbus to help develop it,
BG> ^^^^^^
BG> Is that the sound they make when they hit the ground then? |-)
no, its the sound of a dislexic 477. (:
KR> year, in the uk, i went to duxford aircraft museum (a must for
KR> anybody with any interest in aviation), and there was a privately
KR> owned canberra practicing for an airshow. it must be nice to have
KR> real serious money (:
BG> True, their running and maintenance costs must be horrific. Didn't they
BG> use RR jet engines in those?
i think so, at least in some models. the high altitude pr models had rr
olympus donks, the forerunners to the concorde engines. when i got the
jaycar cattledog the other day, i saw a note in it that jaycars owner is
a part owner of a mig -25, kinda explains some of their prices (:
KR> exactly, if i die, i'd rather it was my fuckup than someone else's
BG> I guess that makes both of us as just loony as each other then. :)
KR> i dont mind being thought mad, its only stupid that is an insult (:
BG> Dunno, I must ask RTL his opinion on that. |-)
he rather proves that you can have your cake and eat it (:
Keith
... I'd rather look out from the ppoint than wallow in QWKsand.
