Someone in Region 18 is going to have to tell us what happened to Bobby. 
In the spring of 1999 he was both NC and NEC of Net3667 and was also the
sysop of a BBS called The Wizard's Castle in the same net.  These were in
Shelby, North Carolina.

All these listings no longer appear in the current nodelist nor does any
listing for Bobby.  Judging from what I found looking around various sites
in Shelby that Google pointed me to, I'd have said that Bobby left this
mortal coil on May 18, 2003 but the particular obituary I thought was his
would have cost me $$$ to look at.

Fidonet characters do do that.  Unless they're well known enough to get a
mention in the Snooze or unless you knew them for other reasons, they're
here one day and gone the next.  And Bobby was not at all well during the
period I remember him.
