Hi, Rod.

RS> BG> I read too many bad things about 1.93a and all incarnations of
RS> BG> 2.04n prior to the G rev. to even bother trying them. 2.04g has
RS> BG> always proved to be extremely stable and backwardly compatible here.

RS> FM> I never heard anything bad about 1.93a, and tested it extensively
RS> FM> before relying on it. The 2.04n Yeah, I did the same thing, in fact still use it for no particular
RS> reason except that it does everything I have ever wanted to do and
RS> has never bitten me at all.

I don't even think the 2.04x versions introduced any new compression
methods, although they have reduced the size of some of the compressed
files, only a few bytes though. 1.93 really was an alpha for the 2.?
versions.

Regards, FIM.
