I will assure you that he is NOT faking the hearing...
Mine went (high frequency) long before I retired... Those short
exhaust stacks on the Merlins were about like the B-25 before
collector rings... My loss started there and was finished by
the B-52. Both my pilot and I flew on hearing waivers.
I like that last name, CLAY. My Name is James Clay Sanders
and there are several Clays in my ancestry.. :)
