I think the problem with the Renegade code is that by the time it was 
handed over, BBSing was already in the downward spiral and in this day 
and age, all you hear from are the whiners.

The first guy after Patrick Spence to take over the code lived here 
locally to me.  Nice guy and all, except he eventually got tired of all 
the people who'd write and demand things from him.  He eventually quit 
and moved to Florida around the same time.
