| subject: | Re: Install of 120GB HD on HPT370 |
From: "Ned F. Reiter" That's similar to what happened to me the other day. I now have Ghost and I first ran it from diskette and cloned the 5 partitions on the boot drive. It cloned them, but filled the whole 120GB with them. Not what I expected. I left all 3 drives attached and when I booted up, XP changed the boot drive from C: to I: and relettered some other drives. Took a registry change to fix the boot drive letter and disk manager to fix the others. When I try to run Ghost from Windows, it wants to create a Virtual Partition from a folder, but when I give it a folder, it fails because it can't defrag it. I guess it's time to read manual. -- -- Ned -- nreiter_AT_attglobal_DOT_net Association of Shareware Professionals developer member http://www.asp-shareware.org/ "Glenn Meadows" wrote in message news:3e57d6b4$1{at}w3.nls.net... > PM has never lost any data for me, either.
