Because it bruises his grossly overinflated ego, hurts his feelings, and makes him so foot-stomping furious that the only thing he can do is resort to immature name-calling. Here's my take on the story - - Tim Richardson did it to him a few times in Debate, back before the Klahnsman banned Tim from the echo. The Klahnsman got his panties in a knot, searched the echo rules, and couldn't find anything to nail Tim for. He then posted to Tim, talling how it wasn't against echorules to ignore the post of another, but it was his opinion that it should be impermissible there to _pointedly_ ignore another poster. The Klahnsman indicated that he intended to approach Peter Bradie about adding an echo rule which would specifically address his self-centered complaint in that regard. That was back when Peter was absent from the echo for several months, while undergoing chemotherapy treatment for lung cancer. My guess is that Klahn pestered Peter about it via email, and Peter, being somewhat under the weather, didn't waste much time contemplating granting the little guy's request to add a special rule just for the benefit of him and his delicate ego. By the time Peter got better and started trying to get caught back up in the echo, and Peter published revised echo rules (a day or two later added to and reposted by Klahn, not Peter), Tim was gone and the Klahnsman's desire to have this special rule added to shield his ego was a moot issue. - - - JimH. ...
