| subject: | OBJ-files and partial-recompilation |
Hello All!
I am new to C(++) programming, though I could allways read it pretty well.
Now I started using C++ (ie. EMX), but what I think to have discovered is,
that when I use an object in obj-file, when leaving the header-files of
both obj-files the same, I will have to recompile both .cc-files to get my
project to work.
I expected that when I only changed virtual-methods in an object, that all
other .obj-files based on this obj-file would remain valid... (until I
changed the header-file).
Why did the project compile, but not work when only compiling the changed
cc-file, whereas it compiled and worked when recompiling all obj-files
based on it?
Bye, Erik!
