I have the same problem! It is sooo nice to know we are not alone....
I have a doiley that will be about 35 inches across, if I can find it and 
finish it!!!!!!! I started it about 10 or 12 YEARS ago...I know, shame on me.
I have found it several times over the years, worked on it, then stashed it 
somewhere, and can't find it again for a few years. It takes me about 2 hours 
to go around it once, and I have about 4 rows left....but WHERE IT IS I DON'T 
KNOW....:(   I have a few crosstitch projects I missplaced in the last two 
years and can't find....?? They will pop up someday. I have been putting all 
my craft stuff in my daughters old room (she turned 18 and moved out) so I 
hope to find them in the move. I will probably loose other things in the 
process, but it will be like getting something new when I find them later, 
right?? :)
. did you finish that lost project???
Guess not, since I still have not found mine.....
