   It is a statement that you are ignorant, i.e. that you do not know,
   something about a specific topic -- to wit, that Sidney is not in his
   country.   That is *NOT* a personal attack, a dig, a slam or whatever
   negative thing you might want to call it.

   One of my favorite teachers imparted to me a step that must be
   achieved on the way to wisdom -- "you must first know what you do not
   know".

   When someone opens such a door for you, perhaps you should learn to
   accept it as a step towards greater wisdom instead of interpreting it
   as a personal attack as is your normal reaction.
