Bah. I'm NOT going to cycle indoors. :)
My choices, are, I think, to save up two-three hundred bucks and buy some
quality protective gear (like a coat and pants) and cycle in the glop and be
done with it.
Incentive enough will come in 33 days, when I get my new bike. I'll put $300
on a layaway this Wednesday, and put the rest down next month. Norco Tango,
full Cromolly, XT rears, LX fronts, individual cogs, 32-spoke aluminum tires,
grip-shift, 24-speed, and the works. Thanks to the company for making a $900
bike a $650 bike. :)
Although as much as I say I'll get out there and deal with it if I get
protected, just yesterday I got quite the bad case of sniffles from riding in
the dry but cold sun. It was sunny, but man, a cold front moved in during my
ride. Got windy (40Km gusts - in the direction I was going in) and chilly,
too. (11 celcius ain't warm when you're dealing with a good wind coming in
from the ocean.)
Oh well, today I drive, I s'pose. To the chilly hockey arena to do announcing
at the game. :/
