Jeff, at 20:23 on Fri, Mar 10 1995, you wrote to Paul Edwards ...

JG> 10 Mar 20:20:23 BINK Modem: DTR=On,RTS=IHS,BUFFER=On (Rx=8, Tx=16)

Notice any difference between the following MODE command and your log?

MODE COM2:38400,N,8,1,DTR=OFF,RTS=HS,OCTS=ON,TO=ON,XON=OFF,BUFFER=ON

Not DTR=ON, that's OK, but your flow control may be set wrongly after all
(sound familiar?). Presumably this is Bink reporting the current state of
affairs, and if Bink doesn't have a problem, it seems you might.

Specifically, what is RTS=IHS, and how did it get that way? Could be a
vital clue in solving your sending problems (RTS = Ready To Send).
