BC>I am planing on attending a commercial diving school. I would like to
BC>be a welder. Does anyone have any input on schools, training, or
BC>personal experience. Thanks
I would suggest the College of Oceaneering in Long Beach, California. I
myself am hoping to attend there after my tour in the military is
complete. I have been to the campus, if you can call it that. Not that
it isn't a great school it is just not what a typical college campus is.
Instead of just buildings, there is a 6-8 sided platform in the harbor
that is used for weld and inspection training. They also have Medical
Diver training. Specializing in Hyperbaric medicine and things
associated with dive medical emergencies. The number is 1-800-432-3483.
Good Luck and Happy diving,
