You mean, e.g. on 22 Apr at 00:31?  I got a "CONNECT 14400" this
end, and then some junk characters, and then 1 minute later you
called and got a "CONNECT 14400 EC/MNP4".  I presume that it was
you the first time?  What I don't understand is why I never seem
to have a mail session with someone when they fail to get an error
correcting session.  I mean, the lines aren't that bad that we
all have to give up the moment we see "CONNECT 14400" are they?

BTW, I noticed an anomaly in your connect.  Can you do the
following:

1. Use the new btpealph I am sending you
2. Comment out the "loglevel" statement in your binkley.cfg
3. Next time you connect to me, send me the binkley.log for
the time of our connect.

That way, I can compare it with mine, to see if that helps.
The anomaly is that you sent an x'f1' to me, I sent an x'05'
to you, but you didn't see it!  BFN.  Paul.
