It's good you have Windows for Workgroups 3.11 as there is also a Windows
3.11 that doesn't say Windows for Workgroups in the Windows Logo or in
[HELP]. Many people like you, evidently think there is only 3.11. Not
so.
Windows 3.11 doesn't have built in networking like Windows for Workgroups
3.11 does.

Actually if you had both Windows 95 and Windows for Workgroups and were
"pretty knowledgeable" about computers, you'd have the network done by now.
It's not rocket science. Do you know what interupts your NIC cards are on? If
so, get into your Windows 95 control panel setup, and add a nework
adapter, use Microsoft Client with NETBUI protocal, use the workgroup name
WORKGROUP on both computers. In WFWG 3.11, if you are pretty knowledgeable
about computers just get run Network from Control panel or run Windows setup
from Main, pull down the menu, click on NETWORK setup, and it will walk you
right through the the setup in trained chimpanzee mode. If you don't have
Network setup in WFWG 3.11, you don't have WFWG 3.11, you only have Windows
3.11.
Like I said, it ain't rocket science to do a peer to peer windows network.
-> Thanks for yer help!
