No it isn't, never was. It's been floating all over the Internet for at
least 7 years, and probably more. I know because I ran into the story as far
back as 1990. Same story, only the department store name changes. There's
probably a British version that uses Harrod's or Fortnum and Mason.... It's
supposed to make a decent cookie though.
