 Lucky him :) I dunno what the officer rank would be after 22 years
 service here. (Dad was a NonCom)..  errrm, The highest ranking officer
 in the RNZAF is Air Vice-Marshall which is I think equivalent to one of
 the Colonel Levels.

 Would be close, yep. Our Navy, You can make captain and even get a
 command, because of the way theyre cycled. Again, all the navy ppl I
 know are NonComs ;)
