Hi Don,

The real question is, do you have a printer OBJECT defined within your OS/2 
system that is pointing to THAT particular printer port? It does not matter 
if anything is actually connected there or not, if it is DEFINED but not 
actually being used, then you CANNOT redirect it elsewhere.

 DG> the spooler properties. The network printer doesn't

Ok, lets say there is a Network Printer defined as  \\SYSTEM1\LASER1. Lets 
say YOUR machine is called SYSTEM2. You need to define a printer of the EXACT 
SAME TYPE on your system. You then need to create a CONNECTION to the Network 
Printer on say LPT5, then any reference on your machine to LPT5 will go to 
the Network Printer.
