With your serger you may want to try to re-thread the machine... I have 
discovered along the way that many times my left lower looper will not catch 
if the threading is just not in the right sequence... I have also discovered 
that if I run a pin under the needles above the feed dogs  and pull the 
threads straight out to the back this will some time fix the problem because 
the order of the threads in vacant and can start over in the proper 
sequence...  Just a hint...
