I'd doubt it as this has happened with a mapped drive to one of our servers
(doesn't go offline often).  Also I have a couple of drives mapped to
different shares on the same server - some of them have lost the names I
gave them whereas others haven't.  One of our users is also experiencing
this annoyance.
