My pleasure.
In the 6 dB J-pole, it takes energy from the "up" and "down" directions
and puts it out toward the horizon. In a beam it takes it from the sides
and back and puts it toward the front where you want it.
MV> BTW, you don't get my Netmail, do you?
Yes, I am the SysOp here, so I get all the netmail that comes to this
BBS. I just checked and I did get your netmail. I am very sorry, I
haven't had time to reply, but since it's general interest for Hams and
hasn't been posted in a while, I will post it here for you. I have
UUencoded a detailed drawing, (using high-ASCII characters), which I will
post in a separate message to you. Do you have UUDECODE.EXE?
Just curious - Where are you located? I checked the nodelist and it
gives the name of the cities, but I didn't find the country listed.
The names appear to be Russian, but for all I know they could be
European, (like Scandinavian). Don't mind me, I'm TERRIBLE on
geography, especially the names of places).
