subject: LF: Alternator Specs

Hello All,
A friend just gave me a used alternator because the one in my Jeep
is a VERY tiny, low amperage (35A) unit. I was told that this 'new'
alternator is a 125A unit, but upon cleaning, I can see the model
number "70A D8ZF FA" stamped on the lower mounting tab, also there
is the brand (Motorcraft) that makes me think that this didn't come
out of a 1973 GMC 2.5 ton dump truck :)
If anyone has any reference material that would state the amperage
at RPM specs, and give a basic wiring diagram, I'd appreciate it.
I'll pick up the info by either FREQ of ftp - if you'll provide a
filename. Or I can poll for a netmail attachment.
Thanks in Advance,
