Or maybe just leave out the -mtune option. That should work too I think.

If it were that simple! ... ;)

The problem is mostly in the conio library, which is dos/windows specific,
for doing the text user interface. I want to replace that with ncurses, but
that will take some figuring out. And I fear they are wildly different, so
it wouldn't be a case of just replacing library calls...2
