I was one of them. As I recall, Win98 originally came with IE3. I used
NS3 instead for a while until it finally pissed me off for the last
time..and then IE4 was out which was vastly better than NS3 or IE3. Tried
NS4 for about a half hour and decided it was dog slow and had more bugs
than NS3, so it became shelfware real quick.
