DM>DB>>> Hi, I don't know who had orginally posted about the Disney
DM>DB>>> Channel putting 'commericals' during the movies,
DM>DM>> Hey-- aren't channels of that type PAY TV? Why are there
DM>DM>> commercials at all, then? That's rude! That's unfair!
DM>CK> Anything Disney does can be "fair", to Disney.
DM> I disagree. It's fair to Disney, but not fair to customers who'd
DM>like to record their favorite movies. There's no room for commercial
reaks
DM>in movies like the Lion King. It messes up all the atmosphere. Well, this
DM>is just my opionion -- I could be wrong. However, when I get to receive
ay
DM>tv here, it's normal not to see any commercials while they show a movie.
o
DM>TV station logos, no breaks for weather forecasting, and most of all no
ne
DM>who annoys the viewer to buy something. I don't mind any of these
DM>commercial breaks between movies.
I have to agree. And they are even talking over the closing credit
music of DuckTales and Gummi Bears now. That irritates me most of
all. Seeing in-house plugs for their programming in the middle of
a big scene detracts from the enjoyment of the movie or tv series.
This is the way I feel it should be structured.

In-house plugs

No talking over the credits
In-house plugs again

The cycle starts all over again. If this were the ideal version of
the world. This is what I would personally want The Disney Channel
to do.
