oriental philosophy and discipline involved along with the process
itself will Jeremy benefit in the manner you wish.  The instructor does
not need to be of Oriental descent, just be properly trained.
Ask around and find out where he can get this sort of training.  There
are schools and other places, make a few phone calls and learn from
those who are usually willing to answer such questions.
