Well, I picked it up and shot it...
I started off with some USA brand .38spl, they fired and grouped quite
well, then moved up to the Remington 125gr JHP high velocity. Holy
mackerel are those things loud! I'll definately have to do a shoot-off
with the 135gr .40's loaded with 13gr of blue dot to compare, but I think
the .357 is louder.
At 38 ounces, the recoil is very mild, relatively speaking, and muzzle
rise is not bad. The cylinder rotates opposite the Taurus 22's direction
(i think), but all in all, I am very pleased with it. I see Midway's got
some .357 components on sale this month... I know what I'll be doing
this summer. :-)
Also shot the 10/22 for the first time since I glued the scope together,
only a 50 foot range, but a 10 shot group of «", minus the bullet
diameter of .22", that's a group of darn close to 1/4". Not bad again
considering my lousy shooting... :_)
