Thanks for your concern, I just got back out of the hospital yesterday. The 
doctors assure me that the original infection is killed, but it left a pretty 
good sized calcium lump in the middle of my spine. The last bout was with 
blood poisoning, probably caused by the IV port installed in my chest. I'm 
hoping that I've used up all of my bad luck for 1998 and my next serious 
illness will be no worse than an ingrown toenail. I think that two 
potentially fatal illnesses in less than 4 months is enough for anyone. It's 
nice to be home, and this time it is without an IV machine. Take care and
