RS> And fake away like mad when you make a complete and utter fool of RS> yourself on stuff like full motion video over copper pair phone lines too. KR> when you can produce any evidence of the ability to send KR> full motion vcr quality video over and ordinary copper pair KR> telephone line, or even an isdn b channel i will gladly KR> agree that you are right without any argument. Not interested Keef. You made wild claims about 3KHz bandwidth and normal copper pair phone lines, made a complete and utter fool of yourself in the process when PRA ISDN manages to achieve 2Mb over those lines. I told you how to confirm for yourself that they do indeed manage to achieve that over normal copper pair phone lines. You either didnt bother or did and think that its better to say nothing. In the circumstances, when its not that easy to actually tell you where in Telecom to get the full tech report on ADSL, which is about that full motion video over a normal copper pair phone line, using either 2Mb or 6Mb depending on the config, which you claimed couldnt be done because of a 3KHz bandwidth, even you will be able to understand why its all just a tad pointless to bother. You would just shutup about that too presumably to minimise your embarrassment at getting egg all over your face. The only real reference I have to it is this one a paper recently written by S Rozenthal, J. Mc Carter and A Mc Bride from the Telecom Pay TV technology project team in Melbourne in October 1993. And I havent the slightest interest in trying to find it just because you demand it Keef. If you cant be bothered to get off your arse and pursue it yourself, because you might end up with egg on your face, thats your problem. KR> however, your saying that it is possible, is not KR> evidence of anything other than your delusions. Poor old Keef. Telecom themselves must be deluded too. They chose not to go that route for other reasons, mainly because that only provides a single video channel, they went the other route, lots of channels over the more traditional cable route, with selection at the subs. --- PQWK202* Origin: afswlw rjfilepwq (3:711/934.2) SEEN-BY: 711/934 @PATH: 711/934 |
